Peel regions not-for-profits are invited to join in our new project: Out of the Box Volunteering!
We know volunteer numbers have been dropping over the past few years and we also know thatvolunteer managers/coordinators don’t have enough hours in the day to solve this issue while also keeping their current programs running.
Out of the Box Volunteering will help with the heavy lifting of revamping your volunteer programs,using researched and evidence-based strategies and techniques to equip and support community organisations in broadening the demographic of volunteers they engage with.
We have partnered with other Volunteer Centres in regional WA as part of this year-long project andwill be utilising the facilitation skills of Wendy Lamotte of MaD Enterprises in the delivery of a face-to-face workshop here in Mandurah and follow-up one-on-one support sessions online.
The commitment required by participants will be:
* A 3hr face-to-face workshop on Wednesday 27th September 2023; and
* 2x online one-on-one support sessions with our facilitator
