Out of the Box Volunteering
A new program to support local organisations in building their capacity to engage with all demographics of volunteers.
Our collective expertise, honed through years of collaboration with community organisations, local councils, and the ever-inspiring not-for-profit sector, has culminated in the creation of Out of the Box Volunteering (OBV).
OBV isn’t just a resource; it’s an inspiration and a catalyst for change.
We’ve packed this resource with a variety of tools and materials that you can customise to match your organisation’s colours, values, and goals.
This isn’t just a one-size-fits-all approach; it’s an opportunity for you to infuse your organisation’s personality and flair into every aspect of volunteering.
So, are you ready to embark on a journey that transcends boundaries and creates a wave of positive change? Let’s spread joy, make connections, and together, let’s celebrate the art of giving back and making a difference!

Our mission is to spark imagination and provide unwavering support for crafting brand-new volunteer experiences tailored to special groups.
Picture this: we’re here to cook up volunteering opportunities that are snappy, quick, and oh-so-fun!
These experiences aren’t just about volunteering; they’re about weaving tight-knit connections, boosting confidence, and waving goodbye to isolation.
And hey, who knows, they might even be a stepping stone to a shiny new employment path!
We’re not just giving you fish; we’re teaching you how to reel them in. Our savvy “Train the Trainer” approach will equip you with the tools and know-how to not only design these unique volunteer roles but also manage the entire cycle like a pro: Recruitment, Onboarding, Training, Nurturing, and even the fond farewell when the time comes.
With OBV by your side, you’re about to become a master of crafting experiences that light up faces and build bridges. So let’s begin….
Volunteer involvement is an essential part of most organisations and yet it can be difficult to recruit and retain volunteers. This workshop provides a framework for exploring new ways to encourage volunteer engagement by identifying current challenges, brainstorming potential solutions, and developing plans for implementation. By following the outlined steps, organisations can increase their chances of success in finding new volunteers and keeping them engaged.
